1994
The joint venture between Marchesi de' Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi first begins to take shape.

1995
The official agreement of the Joint venture is signed in July, with each family taking a 50% stake in the company.

1996
The Two families acquire an estate of 42 hectares in the Montalcino area.
The official partnership is announced to the press and members of the trade at a Gala evening in Verona on April 14th.

1997
On June 14th LUCE, the first wine of the joint venture, makes it's debut.

1998
IIn April, the company launches LUCENTE.
Later that year, Luce della Vite teams up with Jacopo Poli to create Grappa di Luce.
1999
The new line of Danzante wines (Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese) is launched in April.
In June, a 154 hectare property in Maremma is acquired.
2001
Luce della Vite acquires "Il Cavallino," the 150 hectare estate in Montalcino, enlarging the Luce Estate.
2005
Constellation Brands, the giant American wine corporation, acquired the Robert Mondavi Corporation in November 2004.
On February 28, 2005, Marchesi de' Frescobaldi purchased from Robert Mondavi all of its Luce della Vite shares, which subsequently went to Mondavi Investment Partner LLC, the limited partnership begun by Robert Mondavi's son Michael.
2006
Luce della Vite joins Tenute di Toscana, a group of prestigious estates owned by the Frescobaldi family in partnership with M. Mondavi and the SPI group.
The current company structure, in which the Michael Mondavi family holds a financial interest, thus reunites the two great wine families and ensures the future of the Luce della Vite project. An Italian future, under the expert guidance of the Marchesi de' Frescobaldi
