In 1998, Luce della Vite teamed up with Jacopo Poli to create a grappa of exquisite quality. The Poli family has been producing excellent grappas in Bassano del Grappa in the Veneto region for over 100 years and has always been dedicated to promoting an understanding and an appreciation of one of the world's oldest spirits. Made from the Sangiovese and Merlot marc from the wine LUCE, this grappa and honors the terroir from which it originates.

Grappa 1999
In 2005, Luce della Vite introduced a grappa millesimata. This grappa is made from the Sangiovese and Merlot marc from the 1999 vintage of Luce, and is aged in French oak barriques for 5 years before it is released. This grappa was produced in a limited quantity, and is packaged in a hand blown glass decanter with the Luce logo in relief on the decanter.
